Vehicles on Campus
Vehicle Registration
Cars, motorcycles, mopeds, vans, trucks, and all other motorized vehicles must be registered with the University through Campus Safety.
A Denison vehicle registration sticker is not only a parking permit, but is required for roadway use of a motor vehicle on campus. A registration permit must be placed on the vehicle within 72 hours of physically locating the vehicle on campus or a “No Visible Registration” citation will be issued. Registration permits must be visibly displayed on the driver's side of the rear bumper (or in the bottom corner of the driver's side rear window) of the car or on the fender of the motorcycle or moped. Parking permits remain the property of Denison University.

Additional Information:
Visitor & Temporary Parking
Visitors are people who do not attend Denison and do not work at Denison. Visitors to University offices may park in visitor spaces at Swasey or in P-1 of the parking garage. Friends visiting students should park in the visitor spaces or in the first-year parking lot at Ebaugh Pond. If you have overnight visitors you should contact Security (by dialing 0) for instructions. This will prevent your guest from getting a ticket.
A student may purchase a temporary parking permit at a cost of $15 (limited to a maximum length of 21 days).
Traffic & Parking Citations
If a student receives a citation, he/she has seven (7) days from the date the citation was issued to file an appeal. Fines will be posted to the student's account immediately. In the event of an overturned citation, the student account will be adjusted accordingly.
