Step Into an Internship
With the Denison Internship Program, you’ll get a structured learning experience— and the opportunity to earn an academic transcription notation — as you explore career fields and apply academic coursework to the workplace. We give you support before, during, and after the internship. And, if you want to accept an unpaid or low-paying internship, you can apply for a stipend.
The internship program is a three-tiered partnership between students, employers, and the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration. We work with you to set your internship goals at the start — what you want to learn, achieve, and contribute. Mid-way through the internship, you’ll review your progress towards those goals and near the end of the term, you will go through a self-evaluation and reflection process.
Make an appointment with a Knowlton Center Career Coach to learn about additional tools and resources. The Denison Internship program guide has a step-by-step checklist to help you navigate all requirements for stipends, internships, and more.
