Experience The Metropolitan Museum of Art virtual performances of “Balcony Bar with ETHEL” —one of Denison’s Ensembles-in-Residence and one of the most acclaimed string quartets in the contemporary classical field, as they share performances every Friday evening at 5 pm ET.

Friday, January 8, ETHEL and Friends features a composition by Denison’s own Harrison Ponce ‘18, titled “Streams,” which was performed live in December 2019 from National Sawdust in Brooklyn as a part of ETHEL’s emerging composer’s series, HomeBaked 2019. Watch the video on Facebook.

Friday, January 15 features the works of Ching-chu Hu, Richard Lucier Endowed Professor of Music at Denison, along with ETHEL’s Cory Lee, Assistant Professors Sun Min Kim and Hanna Hurwitz, and cellist Hilary Glen.
