Lunar New Year Celebration 2022

Fairs & Festivals

On Feb. 1, the Departments of Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, and the Center for Global Programs sponsored a Lunar New Year Celebration for the students at Denison in Moon Hall.

A wide variety of Chinese and Vietnamese foods were served, including Bânh mì, Gõi cuôn, egg fried rice, spicy chicken, and dumplings.

The students also set-up several activity tables where attendees could pick up red pockets and Chinese knots. They could also try their hand at writing the word Blessing in Chinese using traditional pens and red paper. There was even a paper cutting event and threading of copper coins.
