As part of Granville’s “Turn Your Screen Off” week, the Department of Physics & Astronomy will host an open house at Swasey Observatory (weather permitting). Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in astronomy with the Swasey Observatory 9-inch refracting telescope, as well as 8-inch reflecting telescopes. Celestial objects for observing may include Mars, the Beehive cluster, and others. No tickets or registration required. We hope you can join us for an evening of astronomy!

In the case of cloudy skies, visitors may still enjoy a brief tour of this historic building.
