Godspeed, 1931 32. Rockwell Kent, American, 1882 1971.

The Rockwell Kent Project was developed through an Art History course offered at Denison University in the fall 2010 culminating with the current exhibition at the Denison Museum of the artist’s work. This course served as an intellectual workshop that allowed students to examine the many developments of Kent’s career using an interdisciplinary approach with faculty, staff, resources, and methodologies.

The Rockwell Kent Project presents the artist in a multitude of professional and personal roles. This exhibition includes original prints from the Denison Museum’s permanent collection as well as objects on loan from Kent State, Smith College Museum of Art, Mead Art Museum, and the Columbus Museum of Art.
