"Tell Better Stories" Series Launches on Fourth Saturdays

Location: NEWORK Space, 14 N Park Pl, Newark, OH

Journalism launches its new series “Tell Better Stories” on Fourth Saturdays in Feb, Mar, and Apr. The first is “Tell Better Stories: Documenting Our Lives With Video”, a workshop on Feb 23, led by documentary filmmaker Doug Swift. He will focus on improving basic storytelling skills with phone-video cameras including composition, understanding light, putting the subject at ease, and use of interviews. Doug is creative director of Wild Iris Video and teaches English courses at Denison. Event is held at 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at NEWORK Space, 14 N Park Pl, Newark, OH and is free and open to the public.
