Denison University’s International Studies Program is hosting a film screening of “Madan Sara,” a 50 minute documentary about the lives and hardships faced by women vendors in Haiti, better known as “Madan Saras.” The event will include a presentation by Healing Art Missions’ Executive Director Connie Skingel.
Healing Art Missions was founded in Granville and has been serving people in Haiti since 1999. This non-profit directly supports a primary school as well as clean water and healthcare programs across rural Haiti. HAM organizes teams of Haitian Professionals to deliver community healthcare and education amidst shifts in the geopolitical climate.
