Denison University presents a screening of the Climate Refugee Film “Anote’s Ark” as part of Refugee Awareness Week and the 14th Human Rights Film Festival with Denison Assistant Professor Can Dalyan.

With the dangerous effects of climate change becoming increasingly prominent, the vulnerable Pacific island-nation of Kiribati must find solutions to preserve the existence of its people and culture. This film shows the next evolution in the ever growing challenges of climate change, where technological advancement and inter-state relations are highly consequential and can dramatically change life for all of the world’s people.
