Using data from the National Center for Education Statistics and College Scorecard data from ED.gov, Denison’s Department of Political Science has been ranked first in Ohio.

This new ranking considered career results, which included mean earnings after 6 and 10 years and the ratio of people working to not working after 10 years. 

It also placed weights to “Political Science Emphasis,” or the percentage of the graduating class that are political science majors.

Finally, the ranking considered school performance. admission rate, graduation rates, the average cost of attendance, and the median amount of debt.

Denison ranked No. 1 in Ohio across all public and private schools, including Kenyon, Wooster, Case Western Reserve and Ohio State University.
