DataFest is a weekend-long event the weekend of April 12-14. Small teams of students work intensively to gain insight from a large dataset.

The American Statistical Association coordinates DataFest on many college campuses around the nation during different weekends in the spring.

FiveThirtyEight considers DataFest participants as the students who are most likely to take our jobs. DataFest is open to students of all majors and class year. Diversity of members both in terms of discipline and experience is highly encouraged.
