Biography
Min Ji received her Ph.D. in English from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on representations of slavery and resistance in contemporary novels, music, and museums, and her research interests include African American studies, Asian American studies, transnational feminism, museum studies, and memory studies. She is particularly interested in looking at cross-cultural interactions, tensions, and solidarities in literature, music, and the arts. She currently teaches Issues in Feminism, K-pop, Hip hop, and R&B: Black, Asian, and American Cultural Interactions, and Gender, Race, and Body Politics.
