Curated by Columbus Artist/Printmakers Dustin Brinkman and Michael Weigman, Heavy IS a Heavy Thing is a print exhibition that asks us to address the topics of contention we routinely experience through media, institutional powers, and society at large. From the attacks on the universal human rights of our communities’ members and loved ones, the destruction and neglect of our sacred landscape and resources, and the instances personal of loss and tribulations, how do we carry this weight? Including the work of Denison Print Professor Ron Abram, the exhibition includes 18 diverse artists working in a range of printmaking disciplines including screenprint, lithography, relief and intaglio.

There will also be a Heavy artist panel discussion at 2 p.m. in Bryant Arts Center before the opening reception.

The exhibition is on display until February 17th.
