Denison University’s Asia Film Festival presents a screening of “After Yang.”

In a near-future world, a beloved android companion suddenly malfunctions and shuts down. When his human owners try to get him repaired, they uncover hidden memories from his past, and deeper questions arise: What does it mean to be alive? How do our memories shape our identity? And can artificial intelligence ever develop the ability to feel emotion?
