“Portraying Identity” Immerse yourself in the diverse interpretations of how we perceive and depict individual identities across cultures and continents, delving into the essence of what it means to capture a person in visual form.

“THE FUTURE IS NOT BINARY” Curated by Brett Taylor, showcases LGBTQIA+ artists who engage with 2-D media such as painting, drawing, collage, textiles, printmaking, etc. skewing the binary read of the gendered restroom signs and sparking a dialogue about the construction of the gender binary and safe spaces. This exhibition invites audience participation to add to the visual conversation through authoring the lower half of a restroom sign and adding it to the exhibition in hopes of presenting a spectrum of perceptions outside and in between of the gender binary.
