Congratulations to Jake Shafer '11 for being awarded a Woodrow Wilson Ohio Teaching Fellowship!
This program allows fellows to study in a specially designed master's degree program in education and carries a $30,000 stipend. Graduates of the program teach for at least three years in high-need secondary urban or rural schools.
Upon graduation from Denison Jake earned a M.Ed. at the University of Cincinnati. He now teaches secondary school mathematics in Ohio.
