Sarah Runyan

Sarah joined the Annual Fund team in November 2023 as the associate director of reunion and class giving. In this role, she connects with alums as they plan their reunions, getting them excited for the future of Denison. Prior to Denison, she worked at The Ohio State University, holding various roles in giving, engagement, and stewardship, all with the goal of connecting alums and donors to Ohio State and to the missions that inspired them. Specifically, Sarah was a member of the advancement team at The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, running the class giving program and helping clients of the Veterinary Medical Center support the hospital and their veterinarians. Before this, she attended and worked for Wright State University in their Office of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving. Sarah is a three-time graduate of Wright State, earning her B.S. in mathematics, her M. Ed. in mathematics education, and her M. Ed in higher education administration. She is a passionate advocate for education accessibility through fundraising and alumni engagement and looks forward to working with alums at Denison. Outside of work, you can likely find her drinking coffee and exploring Columbus with her partner and their dog, Connor.
