Pi Beta Phi

Located in Granville, the Pi Beta Phi house serves as a chapter and gathering space for the sorority.
History & Architecture
The house is located at 425 West College Street in picturesque Granville, and was built in 1925. From 1938 - 1948, the house served as a home for Denison’s Alpha Xi Delta chapter. In 1948, that chapter closed and 425 West College became a private residence once again.
As Denison’s most recent sorority addition, the Pi Beta Phi chapter was colonized in 1954 to accommodate a significant increase in women’s enrollment. The house was found and furnished by 25 Pi Phi alumnae who lived in Granville at the time.
