The Laura C. Harris Series welcomes Celia Williamson and James Marsh presenting a lecture about human trafficking and prostitution. Williamson organizes each year the largest scholarly anti-trafficking conference in Toledo called The International Human Trafficking, Prostitution and Sex Work Conference. She also is the founder of Second Chance, the first anti-trafficking organization in Ohio. Marsh is partner at Marsh Law Firm, which represents victims of sex abuse in colleges, churches, and government and military institutions; online sexual exploitation; child pornography, and child trafficking. He is currently involved in a landmark civil rights action to stop a new federal law from undermining pending federal investigations of a university’s mishandling of a sexual assault case on campus.
