The Denison Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Philip Rudd, is excited to present a special concert for Trustee’s Weekend. This concert features Denison piano professor Hana Chu, performing Rachmaninoff’s “Piano Concerto No. 2” on the spectacular Sharon Martin Steinway concert grand piano. Additionally, the orchestra will present the Ohio premiere of Jasmine Barnes’ “Before Dawn,” and close the concert with the scintillating Finale movement of Shostakovich’s monumental “Symphony No. 5.”
