The Beck Series and Journalism welcome two of America’s premiere sports journalists David Aldridge and Dave Zirin in conversation.

Zirin, The Nation’s sports editor, is the author of ten books on the politics of sports, most recently, “Jim Brown: Last Man Standing.” Named one of UTNE Reader’s “50 Visionaries Who Are Changing Our World,” Zirin is a frequent guest on ESPN, MSNBC, and Democracy Now! Aldridge is the editor-in-chief of The Athletic D.C. He has worked for nearly 30 years covering the NBA and other sports for Turner, ESPN, and the Washington Post. In 2016, he received the Curt Gowdy Media Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Legacy Award from the National Association of Black Journalists. He lives in Washington, D.C.
