Denison is pleased to announce the first suite of innovative programs offered by the Launch Lab focused on helping students gain the skills and experiences to meet the talent needs, challenges, and opportunities of today’s business world.
The Journey Program
Dates: January 11-14
Morning Option: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. ET
Evening Option: 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. ET
Open to: Designed for sophomores but juniors and seniors are welcome to participate
This engaging and interactive course guides you through a process to design your individualized Journey Roadmap. You will spend time reflecting on what fulfills you, determining what success in life and career means to you, then crafting a detailed roadmap for achieving that success. The roadmap will help you be more intentional about your college experience and ensure you are using your time at Denison — in classes, co-curriculars, and career preparation efforts — to create an outcome that is both successful and fulfilling.
During this program, you will:
- Engage in an immersive career exploration experience, by reflecting deeply on core elements of who you are
- Identify a career thesis
- Learn how to obtain the information you need in order to make career planning decisions
- Develop a career planning roadmap for your remaining Denison experience, know how to implement your roadmap, and learn how to adjust it if necessary
- Complete/update your resume, a draft cover letter, and your LinkedIn profile
