Denison Art Space in Newark holds a reception for “We Out Here.”

Curated by JstnClmn and Tara Fay Coleman “We Out Here” is an exhibition about the celebration of Black culture, history and the dynamics of 21st century Black identity. It is about representation, visibility on one’s own terms, and the agency to do so —  the underlying sentiment in the phrase, “We Out Here.”

Brought to the public on behalf of Studio Arts and Black Studies programs at Denison University.

Exhibition on Display at DASiN: Friday, Feb. 7, - Friday, April 3.
