Denison University’s Department of Dance presents a collaborative project featuring the live music of ETHEL, choreography by Sandra Mathern, professor of dance, with performance by Denison students Sarah Barney ‘22, Nayeli Hernandez ‘20, Bridget Ryan ‘19, Vaval Victor ‘20, and Sophie Vilter ‘21.

The evening will include musical selections by ETHEL, Denison’s highly acclaimed string quartet in residence, improvisations by the performers, and the finale, Mathern’s dynamic and powerful quintet, Stark Fields and A Promise, to HyeKyung Lee’s (associate professor of music) dramatic composition, Cerulean/Maroon, performed by ETHEL, with piano by Lee.
