The Geosciences program at Denison provides a comprehensive geoscience undergraduate education through the combination of classroom, laboratory and field experiences. Our small classes promote close faculty-student cooperation and a sense of camaraderie. Students gain a strong sense of real-world geology, earth resources, and land use through frequent field trips.
As has been said in just about every previous iteration, it is hard to believe two years have passed since the last edition of the Alumni Newsletter. I guess it’s true what they say, time and tide wait for no one.

Three Geoscience majors who completed summer research with their faculty advisors will be presenting abstracts at the National Meeting of the Geological Society of America in Denver, Colorado this October.
