Biography

Kathy joined Denison in 2019 with the opening of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts. As the Managing Director, she works at the intersection of production and performance to ensure the departments of Music, Dance, and Theatre can produce innovative and collaborative works for student and community audiences. With a belief that diverse voices in the arts play a vital role in a liberal arts education, she works to support student engagement at the Eisner Center and create opportunities for student exploration and growth.

Prior to her arrival at Denison, Kathy managed the Brunelle Performance Hall in Davis, CA, where she oversaw the administrative and technical operations of both academic and community programs centered in Music, Theatre, and Dance. She has worked extensively in technical theater and production, previously serving as the Technical Director for the Boston College Theater Department and the Queens University of Charlotte Theatre Department. She has taught courses in Stagecraft, Technical Production, and Lighting Design.
