The EmpowHERment conference: Translating the leadership character of women into action, takes place on March 13, 2021. It is open to the public and is calling for proposals until Feb. 22.

The EmpowHERment Experience, a women’s leadership development conference, defines leadership as: “the distinct ways in which leaders use their development of self-awareness and social identities to interact and shape the world around them.”

This initiative seeks to translate the leadership character of women into action, bring awareness to the art of leadership as an interdependent identity journey, and promote holistic wellness and justice for self and others.

The conference presents three “tracks” for sessions:

  1. Leading the self: personal growth and empowerment
  2. Leading with others: mentorship, coaching, and building relationships
  3. Leading for change: building new organizations and worlds

You can submit session proposals until February 22.

If you are a campus leader, seeking more information on creating a vision, or wanting to learn more about your own leadership approach, we invite you to join us in our exploration of leadership!
