The Available Light Theatre residency with the Department of Theatre will offer five workshops during the fall semester. These workshops will be led by Matt Slaybaugh and Eleni Papaleonardos.

AVLT was founded, in part, on a model of devised theatre-making known as Viewpoints composition—a mode of theatre-making derived from modern dance and most famously employed by the members of the SITI Company. There will be four workshops this fall, culminating with the November 1 meeting, an audition for the company of actors, writers, designers, and technicians who will create the fourth play of our mainstage season with members of AVLT.

The Department of Theatre and AVLT encourage any student interested in participating in the residency in the spring to attend as many of these workshops as possible. All Denison students are welcome.
