Love Your Body
Learn evidence-based techniques to address body shame. The Body Positive Model comprises five skills or “competencies” that promote a confident relationship with your body, focused on prevention and early intervention of disordered eating and body image struggle—offered by trained Denison staff.
Paws and Relax
Visits with local therapy dogs are a must on campus! Many of our furry friends have been visiting Denison students for years. Connecting with dogs can help students strengthen compassion, relax, and remember their furry friends waiting at home. Offered weekly.
Refresh Your Mental Health
Refresh Day creates an approachable and hopeful atmosphere for students to dialogue about mental health and suicide prevention. The day includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, cross-departmental programming, free food and entertainment, and exciting prizes and giveaways. Held annually in April.
