Academic Affairs
Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendar is a planning document for students, parents, faculty, and staff.
Academic Resource Center
The mission of the Academic Resource Center is to enrich and enhance the educational experience of all Denison students and to support faculty-student interaction. The Writing Center helps students learn the writing process and effective means for improving their skills, and it helps faculty plan and enhance their own approaches to writing assignments.
Accessibility & Disability Services
Support services ensure students with disabilities have equal access to the educational experience and campus life.
Accounting
The Accounting Office reports to the controller in the Division of Finance and Management.
Actuarial Science
Study mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to become an actuary, where you will analyze the economic costs of risk and uncertainty for a wide range of industries.
Denison offers three tracks to prepare you for a career as an actuary.

A Denison University education is not just for a living, but for a life.
Advancement Communications
Advancement Communications promotes fundraising, volunteer, and engagement efforts among the university's alumni, families, and friends.
Advancement Information Systems
The role of Advancement Information Systems is to facilitate fundraising, gift processing, receipting and stewardship.
Alford Community Leadership & Involvement Center (CLIC)
Looking for great ways to get involved? There are all kinds of opportunities.
For example, check out our student organizations, leadership programs, service opportunities, department ensembles, club sports & intramurals—and lots more.
Alumni & Family Engagement
The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement makes connections within the Denison family—alumni, parents, friends, students and faculty/staff—all of you are important to us. Our goals are to connect Denisonians with each other and to strengthen your relationship with the College. We accomplish these goals through programs and events involving your classmates, friends and peers. Your connection to Denison does not end upon leaving the Hill. In many ways, it's just beginning.
Ancient Greek & Roman Studies
Ancient Greek and Roman Studies students are introduced to the intellectual, social, political, economic, material, and cultural histories of the ancient Greeks and Romans and their interconnectedness to other peoples of the ancient world.
Ancient Greek & Roman Studies was formerly known as Classical Studies.
Annual Fund
Each year, tuition covers only about two-thirds of the actual cost of educating a Denison student. The Annual Fund bridges the gap between tuition and other income and the actual cost of educating our students. That means the college relies on the generosity of alumni, family and friends to keep the college strong.
