Deep inside the building, below many bustling academic departments, you’ll find the Knapp Hall Performance Lab, a former lecture hall renovated into a state-of-the-art facility where students, faculty, and renowned guests explore the performing arts.

Knapp Hall was the last of 15 major buildings constructed on campus during the presidency of A. Blair Knapp (1951-1968) and was named in his honor when he died unexpectedly of a heart attack before construction was completed.
