Dialogue with Denison
Denison’s fully-funded fly-in program is designed for students interested in learning more about a Denison education and that would benefit from a no-loan financial aid package.
Dialogue with Denison is a fully-funded, immersive experience designed for rising high school seniors of all backgrounds to learn more about the Denison community and academic experience. Students admitted to this program will explore campus life through a series of interactive sessions, equipping you with a strong understanding of our academic and co-curricular approach. At Denison, we believe education should both challenge and support students in equal measure. Dialogue with Denison (DWD) brings that belief to life through a program that is centered on connection, exploration, and possibility. We look forward to preparing the next generation of world leaders for the ever changing and complex problems they will look to solve.
Students who are selected to attend DWD and apply through either of our binding Early Decision rounds will receive a no-loan financial aid package upon admission to Denison University. While Denison meets the full demonstrated need for all admitted students, DWD participants who are admitted through Early Decision will receive a financial aid award package that also replaces any federal loans with Denison grants, so they may graduate with little to no college debt.
In order to be considered for DWD, students must submit a completed Dialogue with Denison application by Sept. 12, 2025. For more information, please review the tentative schedule.
Dialogue with Denison FAQ

Rising high school seniors/current seniors depending on time of application are invited to attend. Any student from any background is welcome to apply!

Nothing! DWD is a fully funded fly-in experience. Denison covers the cost of flights, your hotel stay, as well as food costs.

Denison partners with the Cherry Valley Hotel to house students overnight and provides a shuttle to and from the John Glenn International Airport (CMH) as well as to and from campus during the event. Students will not be sharing rooms.

Before your arrival, we will send a list of recommendations of what to bring/prepare for! But nothing out of the ordinary, just appropriate clothes for the weather and any school material you may want to bring.

Students are welcome to bring a support person, however, Denison only covers the cost for the invited participant. The programming will also only be open to the invited student. DWD happens in conjunction with our Fall Open House on Monday, Oct. 27 — guests are encouraged to attend Monday’s programming.
