What you’ll study as a music theatre minor
Whether you enjoy being on stage or behind it, you can immerse yourself in courses that address a wide range of topics and techniques. You’ll get to dive into performance and theory, composing and directing, the traditional and the avant-garde.
Performance opportunities
You can be on stage — starting from your first semester on campus — in productions that range from well-known musicals to new works of art. Students can also participate in music ensembles and any of the four theatre productions each year.
Master your craft
Beyond learning how to sing, act, and dance, our core classes examine the history and form of the American musical, offer music theory and theatre-making essentials, and opportunities for electives across a wide range of topics.
