Student must only submit a Student Insurance Claim Form for medical treatments from a provider outside the Denison Student Health Center. For 2013-2014 claims, use Policy Number 2013-M3A97. (For 2012-2013 claims, use 2012-M3A97.)

All full-time students are automatically enrolled in the Plan 2 - Student Health Insurance Plan unless the required online insurance waiver request is completed by the deadline. The premium is charged only once per year and is not related to the mandatory Health Center Fee charged to all full-time students every semester. The premium is charged during the first semester of full-time enrollment for the academic year.

As a four-year residential campus, Denison University is committed to the learning process that takes place both inside and outside the classroom. Staff members in the Office of Residential Education and Housing provide students with a reasonably safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living space, in an academically conducive environment. Sustainability-focused courses at Denison University explore relationships between humans and the environment. Working from a variety of perspectives, these courses explore and analyze at least two types of systems (i.e. cultural, social, economic, political, and/or ecological) and their ability to meet the needs of future generations. These courses purposefully connect actions with outcomes in their relation to environmental issues.
Denison University provides online resources to students, faculty and staff for many purposes ranging from education and research to communications and entertainment. The costs associated with operating a large volume network are part of the general operating expenses. By using online resources wisely and respectfully, we can contain costs and provide more secure services for the Denison community.

Title IX is a law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program. Sexual misconduct is prohibited under this law. The responsibilities in this policy are legal requirements for the College under the Title IX legislation of 1972 which requires among other things that Colleges and universities investigate and act on knowledge of sexual assault—including educating and training campus personnel about their respective roles and responsibilities for reporting incidents.
