Admission to Denison is based on a holistic review of your application. Additional materials that you voluntarily include will only enhance the overall picture we see of you. We focus primarily on your academic history, but appreciate the insight into your personal high school experience that supplemental information can provide. We ask that you please include the Common Application Fine Arts Supplement form as a cover page along with your supplement.

Submit the Common Application along with the Denison Supplement (Part III). The Supplement can be found on the Common Application website once you have added Denison to your list of schools. If you complete the Common Application online, we will waive the $40 application fee. If you prefer to send in a hard copy, you will need to visit Common Application Forms to print off the application. Please include a $40 application fee with the hard copy and mail it to: Denison University, Admissions Office, P.O. Box 740, Granville, Ohio 43023.

At Denison, champions achieve in labs and classrooms as well as in stadiums. To us, a champion’s words are just as powerful as a game-winning goal or a bone-crushing tackle. Scholars, athletes, teachers, coaches, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, politicians, scientists, activists—all can be champions, and at Denison, they are.

Graduation From College. You’ve been thinking of it since your first day of school. Would it surprise you to know that Denison has, too? Whether you’re considering graduate school (as more than half of all Denison graduates eventually do) or plan to go directly into your chosen field, Denison has resources to help you succeed.

Founded in 1831, Denison University has a reputation for challenging academics. However, energetic, discussion-oriented classes and dedicated faculty are just part of what distinguishes Denison’s programs. Take a closer look and you’ll discover that Denison combines outstanding classroom experiences with opportunities to test knowledge in the real world.

As an intellectual community, Denison’s vitality lies in inquiry and exploration—in consistently seeking out new understandings and points of view. Therefore, we see not just the value but the necessity of fostering a community of diverse individuals: students, faculty and staff of varying backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, abilities and worldviews who all recognize the importance of sharing their unique insights and ideas. Every voice speaks to a new perspective, so every voice matters.
