Here at Denison I have had the opportunity to live out my passion for the sciences through research. Currently, I am working with Dr. Jeff Thompson in the biology department studying the role of histone modifications in UV-induced DNA repair. After graduating from Denison, I plan to pursue a doctorate degree in molecular biology where I can continue to study these important mechanisms. When I am not in the lab or studying in Ebaugh, you may find me at Barclay-Thompsen field representing the Big Red as part of the women’s soccer team. I am also avolunteer for Young Life, a Christian ministry that reaches out to high school students.
