Humanities and Social Sciences Summer Scholar presentations
Denison's Summer Scholars present their findings in the humanities and social sciences categories at an interactive poster session open to the public.
The Denison Summer Scholar Program funds students to pursue intensive collaborative work with faculty members for ten weeks during the summer. Well over 100 students participate in the program, which gives them a unique venue to experiment with ideas and artistic expression, pursue an intellectual passion, and focus intently on the resolution of a question over a sustained period of time.
All Summer Scholars submit a final written or artistic project by the end of the summer and they present their research to the community in a poster session or other public venue. Many Summer Scholars use their summer work as the springboard for their senior research.
