The Anderson Science Scholarship at Denison provides students with full tuition in the junior and senior years, as well as a summer research opportunity to work one-on-one with a faculty mentor in cutting-edge research in their science.

The 2019-2020 Anderson Scholars for Excellence in Science are Shraddha Shankar ‘21 (Math and Computer Science), Rahul Shrestha ‘21 (Physics), and Harper “Hoke” Wallace ‘21 (Chemistry and Biochemistry). These three students join rising seniors Eva Jorn ‘20 (Geosciences and Biology) and Haley LeBlanc ‘20 (Math and Computer Science) as Anderson Scholars.

The Anderson program makes possible many summer research assistantships and several full-tuition scholarships each year, as well as providing funding for a world-renowned scientist to come to campus to give a formal lecture, to visit classrooms, and interact with students and faculty.

Congratulations to these exceptional science students.
