Audrey Wood Hendler ’11

Audrey earned her B.A. in education and psychology from Denison in 2011. Following graduation, Audrey taught English in Nimes, France, for a year and then moved into teaching elementary school at New Canaan Country School in Connecticut. In 2014, thanks to a Denison connection at Northstar Travel Group, Audrey pivoted into the travel industry. She enjoyed a seven-year career at Northstar, first in event marketing and then for the past five years in B2B sales for two of the company’s most trusted brands: Travel Weekly and TravelAge West. She developed strong relationships with her portfolio of clients in the Western U.S. for four years in Los Angeles. Audrey returned to Denison as a development officer in 2022 and is responsible for working with alumni and friends of Denison in Southern California, as well as throughout the Southwest. Audrey’s work for the college is based in sunny L.A., but she loves returning to Denison’s beautiful campus several times a year.
