    Denison University celebrates Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with several events over three days.

    This years' celebration is titled “Activism by Tradition: Justice Rooted in our Stories.” Author Eboo Patel will present a keynote talk and lead a panel discussion. View the full schedule of events

    Monday, Jan. 29:
    10 to 11:45 a.m.: Workshops, Part A
    11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Community Service Projects
    11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Lunch
    1:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Keynote and panel discussion with Eboo Patel at Swasey Chapel
    3: 30 to 5 p.m.: Workshops, Part B
    5:30 to 7 p.m.: Dialogue Dinner

    February 5 – 23: Ferguson Voices: Photo Exhibit at the Denison Library Atrium

    February 12: 4:30 Curator Talk TBA

    February 5 – May 4: Exhibition of the works of Emory Douglas at Denison Museum

    February 21: 5:30 Meet the Artist: Emory Douglas Talk at Denison Museum

    Earlier events include:

    Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26 and 27:
    8 p.m.: Available Light Theatre performance “How We Got On”

    Sunday, Jan. 28
    11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Community Service Projects

    Classes are canceled for campus-wide activities and reflection of Dr. King’s legacy.
