During this live virtual event, alumni leaders with diversity & inclusion roles will share how their field has changed this past year, what professionals must do to get jobs in this space, and share advice on how to excel in one’s career.

Panelists include:

  • Lisa Coleman ’88, senior vice president for global inclusion and strategic innovation and chief diversity officer at New York University
  • Erik Farley ’03, senior vice president of equity & inclusion at YMCA of Central Ohio
  • Paige Robnett ’14, DEI consultant /CEO and founder of Robnett Consulting Group, LLC

Nicole Ausmer, PhD, associate vice president and dean of student life at Denison University, will moderate.

After the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn from one another in breakout rooms.

About the Panelists and Moderator

Lisa Coleman ’88

Dr. Coleman is the inaugural senior vice president for global inclusion and strategic innovation and chief diversity officer at New York University (NYU). Before joining NYU, she held roles at Harvard University, including special assistant to the president and serving as Harvard’s first chief diversity officer.

Dr. Coleman received her doctorate from NYU, three master’s degrees from Ohio State University, and graduated from Denison in 1988.

Erik Farley ’03

Erik is a 2003 graduate of Denison and currently serves as the first senior vice president of equity inclusion at YMCA of Central Ohio. Erik’s work aims to bring together teams and strategies to advance YMCA’s anti-racist efforts and to create long-term systemic change.

Prior to his leadership role at the YMCA, Erik spent many years in higher education student life. Before his transition to the YMCA, he served as Denison’s dean of student leadership and community engagement.

In addition to a bachelor’s degree from Denison, Erik earned a master’s from Eastern Michigan University.

Paige Robnett ’14

Paige is a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) Consultant known for turning ideas into action. After starting her career in the women’s advocacy and leadership space, her relentless drive for justice in the workplace drove her to pursue a career in DEI. In her most recent role, Paige directed DEI initiatives for Rock Ventures.

Paige has a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in organizational evaluation and leadership from George Washington University and earned her bachelor’s from Denison in communication and women’s studies. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.

Nicole Ausmer, moderator

Dr. Ausmer joined Denison University this year as associate vice president and director of student life. Prior to Denison, she worked in student life at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Ausmer holds multiple degrees from the University of Cincinnati, notably a doctorate in higher education.
