Political Discourse week presents Hateful or Hate Speech? Bias and Expression on Campus and in the Community with Associate Dean of Students Léna Crain.

In a time where expression can be provocative, contested, and downright hateful, it can be difficult to decide what speech is - or should be - protected. This presentation will explore the definitions of and differences between protected speech, bias incidents, and hate speech as they apply to campus and the community.
