Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” has charmed audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience. The Department of Music Singer’s Theatre Workshop has moved this ‘middle school’ pandemic Spelling Bee from the auditorium to the football field. Come see this fast-paced, joyous musical about growing up, achievement, and camaraderie!

Open to Denison students, faculty and staff, this performance will be held on Deeds Field in Piper Stadium and seating is limited. Tickets are free, limited to one per person, and must be ordered in advance. No sales at the door. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 25, 4 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required.
