Workshop: 'Tell Better Stories: Writing Memoir: Researching Your Memoir'

Denison University’s Center for Narrative Journalism presents a 4-part series of “Tell Better Stories: Writing Memoir” workshops led by Heather Shaw.

Part 2: “Researching Your Memoir”: You’d be amazed by how much you don’t know about your own life. This session explores research: getting the facts straight, using sensory details to tell a story, and placing your memoir in a broader context.

Shaw is a freelance writer from Newark, Ohio and winner of the Award of Excellence from the Columbus Arts Festival.

Workshop is free and open to the public.
