Denison University’s Women’s and Gender Studies Program, Laura C. Harris Fund and Center for Black Studies presents a film showing of “Warrior Women.” It is the story of mothers and daughters fighting for indigenous rights in the American Indian Movement of the 1970s. The film unveils not only a female perspective of history, but also examines the impact political struggles have on the children who bear witness. Film Director Beth Castle and Madonna Thunder Hawk (via Skype) will lead a film discussion afterward.
