Campus Communities for Sexual Respect
The Denison Coalition for Sexual Respect:
The Denison Coalition for Sexual Respect (DCSR) is a community group consisting of faculty, staff, and students representing key majors, offices, and organizations. DCSR has been formed to promote sexual respect on campus. The coalition is charged to share, create, and promote opportunities to educate the community about sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and other forms of gender and relationship violence, as well as to advocate for those affected. Its purpose is to prevent violence and promote a culture of sexual respect within our community.
Representative/Liaison and Organization Role/Description: Representatives will be tasked with attending the monthly coalition meeting in order to update the coalition on initiatives of its organization/group/team, collect and provide information back to their organization/group/team, be a liaison between the coalition and their organization/group/team, and participate in the planning and implementation of one community-wide DCSR event per year.
Organizations/groups/teams participating in the coalition will be expected to host or co-host one event/initiative/workshop/etc. per year.
