Optional Pre-Orientation Programs

Apply for Pre-Orientations in your Admitted Student Portal

Pre-Orientation programs are optional but highly recommended.

Denison offers a wide variety of optional Pre-Orientation (Pre-O) programs, prior to August Orientation, which will help you to expand your horizons, deepen your understanding of yourself, and connect with other first-year students who share your interests and passions. Pre-Orientations provide students a unique, challenging, and enjoyable transition to life at Denison by forming bonds and friendships with other entering first-years in small group settings. Student athletes moving in early for Football, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Soccer, and Volleyball will not be available to participate in a Pre-O due to pre-season practice schedules.

The fee for all Pre-Os is $250. Questbridge Scholars, Denison-Columbus Alliance Scholars, and students with eligible financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid who are accepted into the program will have their fees waived.

Students may apply for multiple Pre-Os in their Admitted Student Portal. Notifications will be sent to selected participants during the first week of June.
