International Student Support
International Student Services offers students who have been educated abroad the tools, guidance and instruction to engage and perform at their optimal level in the U.S. academic domain.
To that end, we provide a comprehensive pre-orientation program for entering students, one on one advising on the academic, social and personal challenges associated with living and learning in an unfamiliar culture, and continuing education on the immigration regulations, requirements and expectations pertinent to the non-immigrant student visa.
For more information on orientation for incoming international students, please visit Pre-O International Student Orientation.

The Student Activity Office (SAO) also sends out weekly e-mails with listings of campus events and activities.
Enrolled students can also look up your own class registration online at Self Service. After logging in select the student services tab, registration. Here you can see your schedule by week and see class offerings and much more.
There are specific deadlines for adding and dropping classes. Please check the Academic Calendar for semester dates and deadlines.
For more information, please visit Academic Support's Tutoring page.
If you believe your difficulty with course work is mainly due to the challenge of reading or writing in English, you may wish to meet with a consultant in the Writing Center as well.
The Writing Center is located on the 4th floor of Barney-Davis Hall. The Writing Center also offers walk-in sessions (no appointment needed) in the lobby of the Library. For more information, please visit the Writing Center.
It is up to the student to find a new advisor and the change must be reported to the Registrar’s Office. The new advisor will need to sign the change of advisor form.
The Student Accounts Office is located on the 1st floor of Doane Building. For more information, please visit Student Finances.
The common banks among Denison students are Park National Bank and Chase Bank. Huntington Bank and First Federal Savings & Loan are also located in Granville. They are all within walking distance from each other on Broadway in Granville downtown.

At the beginning of the semester, there is a two week room freeze after which you can change locations depending on availability. There are very few single rooms and there is an extra charge.
When making a change, you have to fill out a form in the Residential Education & Housing office. Note that any change of meal plans has to be made in the first two weeks of the semester. Residential Education & Housing is located on the 1st floor of Doane Building.
For detailed information on the menu and dining hours, log into MyDenison to find the daily menu on the lower right corner of the home tab.
Incoming mail and packages are usually delivered to your Slayter Box on the 2nd floor of Slayter Hall. You are also notified by your Denison email when you get packages.
