Jess Ensley ’17: What do you do at the library?
Kaylah O’Neil ’17: I work at the circulation desk.
Jess: What’s your favorite thing about working at the library?
Kaylah: I really like organizing and labeling the books.
Jess: Who is your favorite professor and why?
Kaylah: Dr. Kotrosits in the Religion Department is my favorite professor, because she is super laid back and makes you think in ways you normally wouldn’t. She’s the type of instructor that makes you question everything you have learned up to this point.
Jess: What are you planning on pursuing after graduation?
Kaylah: I’ll be taking a year off after graduation. Then, I’ll either be applying to graduate programs for Abnormal Psychology or for Religious Studies or to the FBI.
Jess: What are you involved with on campus?
Kaylah: I am the President of the Middle Eastern Cultural Organization (MECO) and Vice President of the Big Red Fitness Club (BRFC).
Jess: What hobbies do you have?
Kaylah: I ride horses and do CrossFit.
Jess: What made you interesting in horseback riding?
Kaylah: When I was six I told my mom that I wanted to ride horses, because I was fairly certain that I had been a centaur at some point in time.
Jess: What advice do you have for first year students?
Kaylah: Don’t be afraid to build relationships with your professors. It’ll make being in the classroom and finding references for certain things a lot easier. Plus, it’s nice being able to say hi or grab coffee outside of class.
