The Library will be hosting an evening to commemorate the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s passing. Along with our co-sponsors, the English and Theatre Departments, we welcome guest speakers from the Columbus Actors’ Theatre, renowned for their program ”Shakespeare in the Park.”

After performing a scene from Much Ado About Nothing, they will present on their “Shakespeare in the Park” program, how public theatre can be a tool for social justice, and why Shakespeare is still relevant even today. The performance will take place in the Library Atrium and the presentation will be in the Center for Learning and Teaching. Guests can meet and mingle with the actors while enjoying light refreshments.

This event is free and open to the public.
